Is your Zebra Printhead Bad?

Perform this quick and easy test to determine if your Zebra printhead is going bad. As a printhead wears out, its heating elements stop working on the printhead. This means the printhead will lose the ability to heat up and ultimately no longer print in that specific area of the label. These will appear as white vertical lines in the pause test label results; these heating elements on the printhead will not come back. If the area that is no longer printing is not ruining anything critical on your label, you can continue to use the printhead, but if the blank area is affecting a barcode or critical text, you will need to replace your Zebra printhead to recover that area of print!
