ZEBRA ANNOUNCES WT6000 WEARABLE COMPUTER

Introducing the WT6000 Android wearable computer! It’s smaller and lighter than other wearables on the market and its new mounting system fits comfortably on every arm size, plus keeps the device hygenic so multiple users can share it. Zebra replaced the standard velcro mount with a customizable closure system that workers can fit to their arms with the simple turn of a knob.

The WT6000 is multi-modal, meaning it comes with voice instructions and additional input modes that simplify tasks and increase productivity. Workers who are picking multiple orders simultaneously receive voice directions on the next pick location and a diagram of where to place items once they are selected. Instead of speaking to confirm that the right product was picked (like with Voice Directed Picking solutions), workers can scan the barcode or RFID tag on the item, taking seconds off of the process, which adds up significantly between every worker!

Businesses are moving away from shipping bulk orders to stores and increasingly moving toward smaller, direct-to-consumer orders. Customers also expect fast shipping and warehouses need to become even more efficient than ever. Zebra’s WT6000 has 39% fewer errors than a typical speech-only solution!

We suggest pairing the WT600 with the RS6000 or RS4000 ring scanner and the HS3100 or HS2100 headset so your employees can work hands-free, boosting productivity even more.
